Weathered Over Time

This image is a photosketch of an old, weathered faucet. The technique of photosketching adds an artistic touch to any ordinary photo.

Forever a Pair

This photo of the geese was taken at my parents' pond in late Winter. The geese are inseperable; This photo captures that relationship.

Bubble Fun

This photo shows my son doing one of his favorite things, blowing bubbles. This photo captures the emotional movement of the activity he so much enjoys. The expression and determination on his face are followed by excitement for his work accomplished.

Precious One

This portrait of my son was taken in late February before the leaves began to show on the trees. The day was sunny and unusually warm. He was watching squirrels in the near distance and appears to have been enjoying it! I like this photo because of the filtered sunlight on his face. It creates shadows of interest, yet it doesn't take away from his features that I so much love.

Snowy Day

This photo captures the atmospheric space above the snow covered field. This photo was taken on the one snow day we've had this year and focuses on the air/snow/inclement weather as the subject of the photo.

Creekside

Creekside in my own backyard... This photo was taken in late afternoon on a sunny, cool day before the beginning of Spring. The plants and trees are native to this area and enhance the "untouched" feeling of the scenic area.

Seeing Double

This photo was taken at my parents' house at their pond; The duck house has been standing for almost a decade, housing many ducks over the years. The photo was taken in late afternoon on a slightly overcast day. The reflection of the duck house and the surrounding brush is very clear in the reflection on the water.
